Spotted

Can you see what I spotted today? It has been a very mild winter so far but I was still surprised to find two ladybirds in January.

I got out for a long time today, the morning was sunny for the first time in awhile, though it got duller again later. Most of the area is now clear and I have started to mark the tree positions.

This one reminds me of Monet's haystacks in winter. Even though it was midday the shadows are long and low. Nice to see the sun shine.
