Lots in flower and two new beds

4th August

Cherry trees sprouted here themselves. I will probably move the later in the year.

Butterflies love the Verbena. This is a Peacock butterfly.

Royal Mallow doing well now.

A new one in the Wildflower patch.

The first Squash flower.

Verbena added in here.

And here.

Mint flowering.

Beans flowering. Beans are forming too.

I cleared this overgrown bit so I can get into the compost and carrots.

Carrot bed weeded.
5th August

The Courgette in the greenhouse is ridiculously big, but it is producing Coutgettes almost every day.

The tomatoes have also grown very big. Lots of fruit on them, but nothing really ripening.

Banana skins are meant to speed up ripening because of the potassium in them. It hasn't helped though.

Lettuce gone to seed, needs to come out.

Very overgrown around the herbs and raspberries.

Bean pods.

Brussels Sprouts finally planted out. They're in the Carrot bed as it has space and they won't be there on the rotation plan for three or four years.

Another windy day.

Lots had blown over, time to plant!

Yarrow, Verbena, Livingston Daisies, Rudbeckia and a Sunflower gone in here.
