Patio progress

13th August

Progress on the patio has been quite slow, as the weather has been very changeable all week, with rain at some point every day, sometimes all day. Hopefully it will take up as promised tomorrow.

15th August

The driest day of the week, finally got some painting started.

Plant delivery from Gardens for Life
I ordered 12 homegrown plants for a great price from Gardens for Life, (a Permaculture no dig garden in Roscommon) in their anniversary sale. They arrived quickly, well packaged and included a free red currant bush as a gift. Also as willow cuttings were used to hold all together I will be able to plant them out too. I got some unusual things that wouldn't be available elsewhere like Pineapple, Egyptian and Moroccan Mints, Great Mullien, various Mallows, Hollyhocks and Lemongrass.

16th August

Set up for visitors who were to come at the weekend.

18th August
I was away on 17th and had an event on 18th, so nothing much done at the weekend.
19th August
It took all day to paint one side of the trellises between heavy showers.

I ordered polycarbonate panels from KSB Greenhouse to put a roof up and started planning how to do this. They have just arrived this evening, so hopefully there will be more progress soon.
