First day of June

Lots of these cloudy patches with tiny black swimming things have appeared in the pond in last few days. I presume they are some sort of insect larvae.

Verbena should have been sown much earlier, but it might grow anyway.

Squash and Sweetcorn laid out in new bed that's finally finished. Hopefully they survived the night of rain and slugs. 

First Parsnips appearing.
