I was working this morning, but still managed to spend five or six hours in the afternoon/evening preparing the pond area. It was full of Meadowsweet, grass roots, briars and a few rushes. I thought it would be better to remove them before digging the sods into other soil and spreading them. I adjusted the pond sides a bit too. It's now 2.8m×1.9m at its largest.
