Yesterday I decided I should chit my seed potatoes, but was surprised to see they are already well sprouted. They are Colleen variety, a first early that can be planted in a polytunnel from January. I brought in one of the empty raised beds from outside and will hopefully get them planted in the next few days. I ordered Envirogrind's veg mix compost/topsoil which should arrive next week. The new path in the photos is made from old election posters. I need to level the whole area a bit before I set up more beds.
