Sowing seeds

It started raining when I was just about to go out this morning and hasn't stopped since. I found a box of old seeds earlier though so I decided to sow some and see what happens. Most of them are out of date, some just from 2018, but others were as far back as 2008. I just used anything that was ok to plant in February. There are loads more with March and April dates. It will be interesting to see if any grow.

Primroses spotted before the rain.

Toilet roll holders work well for peas as you can plant on the whole thing and not disturb the roots.

Spinach seeds.

Peas and Mangetout

Chocolate Mint

Strawberry Mint

I presume all seeds are already gone from these but didn't want to chance sowing mint in my compost so I put the flower heads in the bigger pot too.

Puddles every where.
